Budapest Danube cruise is so popular
Why are
river cruises so popular in Budapest?
I have had
my fair share of adventures and journeys in all sorts of countries and I have
seen great cities, small villages and seaside resorts alike. Never have I seen
such demand on a particular form of sightseeing like I did in Budapest. The
Hungarian capital’s most popular feature seem to be its riverside which is
hands down a supremely beautiful bit of not only Hungary, but Europe.
The
embankment is busy with all sorts of boats and cruise ships coming and going
and especially during peak season opting for a Budapest Danube Cruise is one of
the most plausible things to do in the city.
But why is
it that a Budapest Danube Cruise can gain such popularity?
First of all,
I have briefly touched upon the matter of the undeniable beauty of the
capital’s seaside. When on a Budapest Danube Cruise visitors get to take pretty
much all in. Boats sail past the House of Parliament, the Castle District or
the Statue of Liberty.
Secondly heat
can reach extreme heights in Budapest during summer and since the gem of Europe
does not have a seaside, visitors can either travel to Lake
Balaton or sign up for one of the famous thermal baths of the city. Otherwise
it is almost unbearable in the concrete jungle. Being on a Budapest Cruise is certainly a cooling experience as there is generous wind aboard.
Last but
not least since the competition is so fierce between suppliers, the abundance
of tour types is remarkable. Danube Cruise in Budapest with dinner, pizza, beer,
cocktail, etc. And the list goes on.
All in all
Budapest is a vibrant, great city and I recommend all to visit it once. And do
take a Budapest Danube Cruise as well.
